Rebuilding Kurima update

Hi,

This very well may be the final update.

On Tuesday September 29, 2015 Da Ongchhu Sherpa visited my home in Lowville, NY. We hosted a tiny celebration in his honor. He spoke to the audience about his recent successful Denali climb.

On that occasion, he was handed over all the money collected for earthquake relief. The sum totaled a little over $7,000. 

An earlier attempt to send funds via Western Union was unsuccessful for reasons known only to Western Union.

Da Ongchhu Sherpa, as a representative of the people of Kurima, joins me in expressing our most sincere gratitude to all of you that made a contribution. We hope that your altruism brings you immense internal joy.
